MountingtheTRXUracks
ThisprocedureexplainshowtoinstallthethreeTRXUracksintotheemptywiredframe
ofthetransceivercabinet.
Note
Duetothephysicalweightoftheracks,minimumtwopersonsmustbeallocatedtodo
thistask.
Standardworkshoptoolsarerequired,aswellasatorquewrenchforAllenbolts.
Important
EachofthethreeTRXUracksareprovidedcompletewithallcircuitboardsandmodules
readilymounted.Theyarepositionedatthetopofthetransceiverrack,oneaboveeach
ofthethreeairducts.
Theracksmustbeinstalledinthefollowingorder:
1TRXUNo.0mustbeinstalledinthetopposition.ThereareeightTRX32circuit
boardsinthisrack,andtheyareidentiedwithnumbers24to17.
2TRXUNo.1mustbeinstalledinthemiddleposition.ThereareeightTRX32circuit
boardsinthisrack,andtheyareidentiedwithnumbers16to9.
3TRXUNo.2mustbeinstalledinthebottomposition.TherearenineTRX32circuit
boardsinthisrack,andtheyareidentiedwithnumbers8to0.
Eachrackismountedonadedicatedsetofrails,andthensecuredwithfourfront
mountedracksboltsoneachsideofeachTRXUrack.
Therailsarealreadyinstalledinthewiredtransceiverrack,andtheboltstobeusedare
alreadyplacedintheirholes.Eachrailconsistsoftwoparts;oneismountedtotherack
framework,andoneismountedtothesideoftheTRXUrack.Duringshipping,these
siderailsarehowevermountedinsidetheframeworkrails.
ThebottomboltontherightsideofTRXUNo.0securesanearthstraptothetopbolt
ontherighthandsideofTRXUNo.1.Similar,thebottomboltontherightsideof
TRXUNo.1securesanearthstraptothetopboltontherighthandsideofTRXUNo.2.
ThebottomearthstraponTRXUNo.2isconnectedtotheframeofthetransceiver
cabinet.Theseearthstrapsareallmountedontheemptytransceivercabinetframe
duringshipping.
