Thisisausefulaidinprovidinganoverviewofthetrawl
operation.Trawldatacanbesetmanuallyusingthemenuor
automaticallybyinterfacingaSimradFStrawlsonarorSimrad
ITItrawlmonitoringsystemwiththesonar.
Inthemanualmodethetrawlsymbolwillbedisplayedwith
theselectedsize,depthanddistance.WhentheFS70,FS900
orFS3000trawlsonarisconnected,thetrawlsymbolwill
automaticallybedisplayedwiththecorrectdepthinthevertical
modes.WhentheITItrawlsystemisconnected,thetrawlsymbol
willbedisplayedwiththecorrectdistance,bearinganddepth.
Ifrequired,thetrawlopening,ambientwatertemperature,and
trawl-llingindicatormayalsobedisplayed.Thisisassumed
thatthepropersensorsareconnectedtotheITIsystem.
Howtodeneandchangethegearproperties
ThegearpropertiesarechangedbymeansoftheGearbutton
ontheSetupmenu.
1ClickthemiddleoftheGearbuttontoopentheparameter
dialog.
2Clickonceonthegearyouwishtouse.
3ClicktheEditbuttonatthebottomoftheGearparameter
dialog.
4Foreachofthegearparametersavailable,selectthe
requestedvalue.
5ClickClosewhenalltheparametershavebeendened.
