Theverticalviewprinciple
Theverticalslicecutsthroughthewatercolumnfromthesea
surfaceanddowntowardsthebottom.Thesliceisrathernarrow,
butyoucanpointittoanydirectionaccordingtothesettings
describedabove.
Thisverticalslice,whichispresented
bythewhiteaudiolineinthe
horizontalpicture,canbeselectedto
anybearingbythemanualtraining
control.ThecombinationoftheOmni
modeandtheverticalslicewillgive
anoptimalvisualizationofthecatch
situation.

•Audio:Clicktoallowtheverticalslicetofollowthedirection
ofthetrainableaudiochannel.
•Indicator:Clicktoallowthattheverticalslicecanbeadjusted
independentoftheaudiochannel.Theadjustmentiscarried
outbymeansoftheDirectionIndicatorparameter.
•Forward:Clicktoforcetheverticalslicetofaceforward.
•Aft:Clicktoforcetheverticalslicetofaceaft.
•Athwart:Clicktoforcetheverticalslicetofaceathwart.
•Close:Clicktoclosetheparameterdialog.
