openswhenyouclicktheRCGbuttonintheHorizontal,Vertical
andVertical180menus.
ReverberationControlledGain(RCG)regulatesthereceivergain
individuallyforeachofthe64receivingbeams.Ifyouselect
weakormediumlterstrength,signalswithsmallvariations,
likepropellernoise,surfaceandbottomreverberationswillbe
removed,whilesignalswithfastvariations,liketargetechoes
orbottomechoes,willnotberemoved.Ifyouselectastrong
lter,aspecialfunctionremovesthebottom,whileechoeson
thebottomwillbepresented.
Note
Scatteredshcanbeperceivedasreverberation.TheRCG
functionmustthereforebeusedwithcareifscatteredschools
aretobedetected.
